Learning to corchet and kinit as a child started a lifelong interest in all forms of lacemaking. Over the years I have attended workshops to learn bobbin lace, various needlelaces and tatting. I have continued to expand my knowledge of crochet by completing Stage One Proficiency with the Australian Lace Guild. I have taught hairpin crochet workshops with the Queensland branch of the guild, CWA and a local craft group.

This workshop is an introduction to learn the basic techniques of Hairpin Crochet.

During this two day class, students will learn the bake the basic braid and the various ways of joining strips to priduce larger items.

It is a pre-requisite of this workshop that sutdents are able to crochet.
