Annual Lace Conference 2021

The highlight of the year for most lace makers is the annual conference week held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting.

Although there is still some uncertainty with respect to the Covid19 Pandemic, at this stage we are hopeful that the 2021 workshop week will go ahead. We will be incorporating the Triennial Awards and Nimble Fingers awards as part of the Lace Conference.

Accomodation

This years conference week will be held at Clayfield College Boarding House. The Boarding house is used through the term by primary and high school students and offers single and shared rooms with the basics (eg bed, desk, chair, cupboard).  Some single rooms have ensuite, the shared rooms have access to shared bathrooms. As a boarding house it has it’s own kitchen, dining room and also offers small sitting spaces and 24/7 tea/ coffee.

Please be aware this is not hotel style / level accomodation. There are a number of hotel/ motels near by if you do not wish to live in at the College.

Bookings

The conference booking form will be published in the Winter magazine and will also be available on the web site, after the magazine has gone to press. Given the disparity with postage across Australia, returned booking forms will be held, mixed up and randomly processed after the closing date (emailed forms will be added into this process).
